ABOUT NEXUS
Nexus Actuarial Consultants Ltd. is an independent, professional firm established in January 1994 in Toronto by its two founders, Bruce Neville and John Neal. Since the year 2000, Nexus has specialized in providing actuarial valuations for Post-Employment benefits, accumulating sick leave benefits, and self-insured LTD benefits and self-insured WSIB benefits. We are associated with Mosey & Mosey, a benefits consulting firm and provide actuarial valuations for post-employment benefits for many of their clients.

We are a leader in the PSAB accounting valuations for municipalities in Ontario, currently performing these valuations for 3 Regional Governments, for 15 County governments and for many area municipalities (about 40). We also perform these valuations for several Health Units and Hospitals in Ontario.

Bruce has a Bachelor of Science (Hon) degree in Mathematics and Statistics from Queen’s University and four parts of the Society of Actuaries Exams. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Tandia Financial Credit Union and a former member of the Board of Directors (1997-2003) of the Deposit Insurance Company of Ontario. Bruce has been a member of the WSIB actuarial advisory committee since 2011.
Paul attained his Associateship in the Society of Actuaries in 1999 and he became a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries in 2002 upon the completion if his exam requirements. He also became a Fellow of the Canadian Institute of Actuaries in 2002. Paul also holds a life insurance licence and a wealth licence.
